## Release cadence

***

Midaz ships in **release cycles**. Each cycle runs for roughly three months and wraps with a consolidated release. Planned dates for the year are in the [2026 release schedule](/en/updates-and-versioning/release-cycle-2026).

Between cycles, we try publish out-of-band entries weekly, or whenever something lands that you need to know about.

## Tag types

***

Every entry carries a tag. Here is what each one signals:

| Tag | What it means |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Added** | A new product, feature, or documentation section is available. |
| **Improved** | Existing behavior or content got better. No action needed on your side. |
| **Updated** | Content was refreshed to match the current product. Worth reviewing if it touches your integration. |
| **Fixed** | A bug in the product or a correction in the documentation. |
| **Deprecated** | A feature is on its way out but still works. Start planning the migration. |
| **Removed** | A feature or page is gone. If you still depend on it, read the linked note. |
