# Interfaces

> Lerian's integrations to payment products, through a Lerian rail or through a partner institution.

An interface is Lerian's integration to a payment product. It gives you the API, the ledger integration, and the operational controls for that product.

A rail is different: it is the national payment system itself, such as SPI for Pix or SPB for TED. Brazil Rails documents the rails. This tab documents the interfaces that reach them, through a Lerian rail or through a partner institution.

Lerian offers six interfaces and plans one more:

* [TED Lerian](/en/interfaces/ted-lerian/what-is-ted-lerian)
* [TED JD](/en/rails/ted/ted-in-lerian)
* [Pix Lerian](/en/rails/pix/pix-lerian)
* [Pix JD](/en/rails/pix/jd/direct-pix-via-jd)
* [Pix BTG](/en/rails/pix/btg/indirect-pix-overview)
* [Payments BTG](/en/rails/boleto/boleto-and-bill-payment)
* [Payments Celcoin](/en/interfaces/payments-celcoin/what-is-payments-celcoin) (planned)

## What runs in production today

***

Pix runs in production through two interfaces. The **JD** interface connects your institution as a direct participant through a certified PSTI. The **BTG** interface connects you as an indirect participant. TED runs through **JD**. The native Lerian rails are Lerian-owned software for a direct, non-intermediated connection to BACEN. They do not replace the JD and BTG paths.
