# Pix Decode QR in Lerian Console

> Paste the payload behind a Pix QR code to read who it pays, how much, and if it can still be paid, through the Pix Indirect (BTG) plugin in Lerian Console.

The **Decode QR** page of the **Pix** section reads the payload behind a Pix QR code. It shows who the QR pays, how much, and if the QR can still be paid.

The **Pix** section appears in the Midaz Module when the **Pix Indirect (BTG)** plugin is on. See [Plugin settings](/en/platform/console/plugin-settings).

To use the page, a user needs the `collections:post` permission.

## Accessing the Decode QR page

    From the Midaz Module sidebar, expand **Pix**.

    Select **Decode QR** in the submenu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the account">
    Search for the account by its alias in the account filter. Each decode needs an account.

## Decode a QR payload

    In **QR payload**, paste the text behind the QR code.

  <Step title="Add the payment context">
    Optionally, open **Payment context (optional)** and set the **City code (IBGE)** and the **Payment date**. For a due-date charge, the payment date sets the discount or interest band. When you leave it empty, the provider uses today.

  <Step title="Decode">
    Click **Decode**.

When the payload looks incomplete or changed, the page shows a warning and decodes it anyway.

## Decode result

The result starts with **Paid to**, **Amount**, and **Validity**. The other fields depend on the type of the QR:

| QR type | Other fields |
| - | - |
| Static | The description, the transaction ID (txId), and the merchant city, category, and postal code. |
| Immediate charge | The charge data, and the Pix Saque or Pix Troco values when the QR has them. |
| Due-date charge | The amount breakdown and the charge data. |
| Pix Automático recurrence | The recurrence mandate, for reading only. |
