# Plugins in Midaz Module

> Optional plugins that extend the Midaz Module in Lerian Console.

Plugins are optional capabilities that add features to the Midaz Module on top of Midaz Core.

## How plugins work

* **Settings controls availability.** Each plugin must be enabled in [Plugin settings](/en/lerian-console/midaz-console/plugin-settings) before its menu item appears in the Midaz Module sidebar.
* **Some plugins require a license.** Settings shows the license requirement next to each plugin.
* **Disabling preserves data.** Turning a plugin off hides its UI but does not delete configurations you created with it.
