# Viewing and Editing Operations

> Inspect the individual debit and credit operations that make up a Transaction in the Lerian Console.

Use the **Midaz Module** to review the **Operations** that compose each Transaction. Operations are the individual movements — debits and credits — applied to the accounts involved in a transaction.

## What you can do

* **View operation details** to see the source or destination account, asset, amount, and resulting balance impact.
* **Edit operation metadata** to enrich an operation with custom key/value information for reporting and reconciliation.

Operations are always tied to a parent Transaction and are reached from the transaction detail view.
