# SPI DICT discovery and inventory configuration

## What changed

The SPI environment guide now documents the DICT discovery and inventory controls. Inbound claim discovery requires both `SCHEDULER_ENABLED` and `SCHEDULER_INBOUND_DISCOVERY_ENABLED`. Other DICT workers have independent enable switches and documented defaults, cadence, batch, staleness, and failure thresholds; several are enabled by default.

The guide documents shipped configuration. It does not announce a runtime release.
