## Affects

***

Teams that integrate with Lender's origination, servicing, or accounting APIs, and teams that operate a Lender deployment.

## What changed

***

Seven Lender guides were rewritten against the service as it stands today, and two pages came back.

**Accrual recognizes a calendar month, not a loan anniversary.** A run closes the last civil month that had fully ended before its business date, and closes the same month for every loan it selects. The guides previously described a per-loan anniversary grid, which no longer exists. The scheduled driver now ships enabled and fires daily, where the daily cadence is a retry of one monthly recognition rather than a way of walking anniversaries. A run also covers the whole book, instead of stopping at a fixed number of loan accounts.

**Two of the jobs this update documents ship enabled.** The nightly PDD promotion sweep advances Res. CMN 4.966 provisioning stages as loans age, in single-tenant and multi-tenant deployments, and builds the portfolio snapshot it depends on when nothing else did. The daily accrual heartbeat is the other. Several other sweeps ship enabled too; collection reconciliation and the dedicated portfolio snapshot job stay off by default.

**Origination gained two refusals and a mandatory key.** Creating a loan application and moving it — approve, reject, withdraw, disburse — now require the `X-Idempotency` header, and the guard fails closed rather than passing an unprotected request through. Origination also refuses a loan product that is not active (`LENDER-0225`) at creation, approval and release, and refuses an application that does not name the product's current version (`LENDER-0226`) at creation only.

**A live product can be repointed.** A new operation promotes a version to current on a product that is already active, carrying the same readiness checks activation carries, and changing nothing for contracts and applications already open.

**A returned final payment on a settled consignado loan opens a receivable.** When the payroll exclusion has already reached the rail and was not rejected, reversing the settling payment no longer revives the contract: it opens a returned-payment receivable against the borrower, outside the credit operation, with its own list, read, and collection operations.

**The accrual retry does work now.** Retrying a run rebuilds the postings the ledger never acknowledged and enqueues them under the same deterministic key, and reports per item what it could not re-send.

The Lender console page and the portfolio and delinquency page are published again, both matched to what the build and the API actually answer.

## Impact

***

**Classification: Action required.** A client that does not send an idempotency key on the four loan-application writes that did not require one before (create, approve, reject, withdraw; disbursement already did) is refused, and a client originating against a product that was never activated is refused. Both are new refusals, not documentation clarifications.

## What you need to do

***

Send `X-Idempotency` on every loan-application write, and treat a `400` as a client defect rather than a transient failure. Activate the loan products you originate against, and name the current version when creating an application. Review every job that ships enabled against your own scheduling expectations before upgrading, and re-read the accrual guide if you built anything around the anniversary rule.
