# Capitalization

> Reference the capitalization rules used across Lerian docs — sentence case for headings, exact casing for product names, and common edge cases.

We use **sentence case** for all headings and titles. That means only the **first letter** of the sentence and proper nouns are capitalized.

This applies to:

* Page titles
* Section headings
* Card titles
* Navigation labels

## Product names

Product names are proper nouns. Always capitalize them exactly as shown below.
