# Deleting an Organization

> Permanently remove an Organization from the Midaz Module along with its Ledgers and configurations.

To delete an Organization in **Midaz Module**, follow these steps:

  This action is **permanent**. Once deleted, the Organization **cannot be re-activated**. Make sure this is the intended action before proceeding.

<Steps>
  <Step>
    On the **Organizations** page, locate the Organization you wish to delete from the list.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the three-dot menu (<Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" /> ) in the **Actions** column, then select **Delete**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    A confirmation dialog will appear.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click **Confirm** to finalize the deletion.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  For auditing reasons, information about the organization will remain available on the platform — but you won’t be able to use it anymore.
