# Editing Segment information

> Update a Segment's name, metadata, or details from the Console to refine how Accounts are classified.

To edit the information of a Segment, follow these steps:

    From the **Segments** page, find the Segment that you want to edit, click the three dots (<Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" />) from the **Actions** column, and select **Details**.

    The **Details Segment** form will open on the right side of the screen.

    Edit the information as needed and click **Save**.
