# Deleting a template

> Remove a template from Reporter when it is no longer required for any regulatory report generation in your environment.

To remove a template from Lerian Console:

  <Step>
    On the **Templates** page, find the template you want to delete.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the three dots (<Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" />) on the **Actions** column and select **Delete**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    A **Confirm Deletion** dialog will appear with the template name. Confirm the deletion.
  </Step>

<Danger>
  Deleting a template cannot be undone. However, reports already generated using that template will remain available in the **Reports** page.
