# Deleting a User

> Permanently remove a user account from the Console and immediately revoke their access to your Lerian platform.

<Warning>
  **This action is permanent and cannot be undone.** Once deleted, the user account cannot be recovered. The user will immediately lose access to the platform.

To delete a user, follow these steps:

    From the **Users** page, find the user you want to delete.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the three dots (<Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" />) in the **Actions** column and select **Delete**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click **Confirm** to finalize the deletion.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    The user is permanently removed from the platform.
  </Step>

<Note>
  You cannot delete your own user account. This prevents accidentally locking yourself out of the platform.
