# Lender settings

> Read the jurisdiction profiles, publish your PDD stage ladder, and turn the Consignado plugin on in the Lender module.

The **Settings** section of the [Lender module](https://docs.lerian.studio/en/products/lender/console/lender-module.md) holds **Jurisdictions**, **PDD stage ladder**, and **Plugins**.

## Jurisdictions

***

**Jurisdictions** lists the jurisdiction profiles compiled into Lender. They are reference data. Nothing on this screen changes. Each row shows the profile, its version, and whether it books credit and opens credit origination. See [Jurisdictions](https://docs.lerian.studio/en/products/lender/jurisdictions.md).

For a profile marked as a development base, schedule previews and reference reads work. Creating a product or proposing, approving, or disbursing a loan is refused.

## PDD stage ladder

***

**PDD stage ladder** shows the dated policy that decides the PDD stage of the contracts in your book. It shows the ladder in force on a day you choose, by regime (arrears or problem asset), carteira, and stage, with the days overdue each stage starts from.

Your book follows the default ladder that Lender ships. A ladder you publish replaces the default from its effective day. From then on, changes to the default ladder no longer reach your book.

**Publish ladder** starts from the ladder in force and lets you add bands. Publishing follows these rules:

* Each regime needs a band at 0 days for the other carteiras.
* A carteira you name stops using the other-carteiras bands for that regime. Give it every band it needs, starting at 0 days.
* A published ladder cannot be edited or withdrawn.
* Lender refuses a second ladder for the same day.

The nightly sweep stages contracts by the ladder from its effective day. Publishing reclassifies nothing by itself.

## Plugins

***

**Plugins** turns the Lender plugins on and off. It has one card, **Consignado CLT**, which operates CLT payroll loans on the Dataprev rail through the Consignado gateway. When the plugin is on, the Consignado CLT section appears in the sidebar. See the [Consignado module](https://docs.lerian.studio/en/products/lender/console/consignado-module.md).
