# Aggregator connections

> Connect Matcher to the Pluggy or Belvo open finance aggregators, link the account holder's account through the vendor's consent window, and set up the vendor webhook.

The **Aggregators** screen in the Matcher module of Lerian Console manages your open finance aggregator connections. An aggregator connection links Matcher to Pluggy or Belvo, so that Matcher can pull account data. Data starts to arrive after the account holder completes consent in the vendor's own window.

For the API workflow, see [Aggregator connections](/en/products/matcher/integrations/matcher-aggregator-connections).

## Accessing the Aggregators page

***

Navigate to **Settings → Aggregators**.

## Connections table

***

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| **Vendor** | **Pluggy** or **Belvo** |
| **Name** | The connection name |
| **Base URL** | The API address of the vendor |
| **Account ref** | The vendor reference of the linked account. It is empty until you link an account |
| **Consent** | **Awaiting consent** or **Linked**. This column also shows the result of a connectivity check |
| **Actions** | The menu of actions for the connection |

The table shows 20 connections on each page. Use **Previous** and **Next** to move between pages.

## Creating a connection

***

1. Click **New connection**. The **New aggregator connection** sheet opens.

2. Fill in the fields:

   | Field | Description |
   | - | - |
   | **Vendor** | **Pluggy** or **Belvo** |
   | **Connection name** | A name for the connection. Each connection needs a different name |
   | **Base URL** | The API address of the vendor, for example `https://api.pluggy.ai` |
   | **Account reference** | The vendor reference of the account (optional). Leave it blank to link the account later with **Connect** |
   | **Client ID** | The client ID that the vendor gave you |
   | **Secret** | The secret that the vendor gave you |

3. Click **Create connection**.

After the save, the **Webhook token created** dialog opens. For the next step, see [Setting up the vendor webhook](#setting-up-the-vendor-webhook).

## Linking an account

***

A new connection without an account reference shows **Awaiting consent**. To link the account:

1. Open the **Actions** menu of the row and click **Connect**. The consent window of the vendor opens.
2. The account holder completes consent in the vendor window.
3. Matcher saves the account reference from the vendor. The row then shows **Linked**.

If the account holder closes the window before the end, nothing changes. For a linked connection, the menu shows **Reconnect**. It runs the consent again for the same account.

If Matcher cannot save the account reference, the **Finish linking this account?** dialog opens. Click **Save reference** to try again.

## Setting up the vendor webhook

***

The vendor sends notifications to Matcher through a webhook. Open the **Actions** menu of a row and click **Mint webhook token**. The **Webhook token created** dialog opens.

1. Copy the **Webhook URL** from the dialog.
2. Paste the **Webhook URL** into the dashboard of the vendor.
3. Click **Done**.

## Testing a connection

***

Open the **Actions** menu of a row and click **Test credentials**. Matcher runs a connectivity check, and the **Consent** column shows the result. This action shows only when Matcher can test the connection. It requires a **Pluggy** connection that shows **Linked**.

## Editing a connection

***

Open the **Actions** menu of a row and click **Edit**. The **Edit aggregator connection** sheet opens.

You cannot change the **Vendor**. To use another vendor, delete the connection and create a new one. Leave **Account reference** blank to keep the stored reference. Click **Save changes** to apply the change.

## Deleting a connection

***

Open the **Actions** menu of a row and click **Delete**. In the **Delete connection?** dialog, click **Delete**. Matcher removes the connection, and you can use its name for a new connection. You cannot undo this action.
