# Alerts and shift handoff in Lerian Cabine

> The alerts that Lerian Cabine shows to operators, and how one operator hands a shift to another.

Lerian Cabine shows alerts to operators, and an operator can hand a shift to a colleague.

## Rail readiness

***

In the **Cabine** workspace, **Visão geral** shows whether each rail service in its configuration reports that it is ready (**Frota**). It also shows whether the SPB rail can submit and receive (**Prontidão STR**).

## Alerts

***

Cabine computes alerts in each operator's browser from the data it reads from the rails. An alert exists only while an operator has Cabine open.

The **Alertas** screen lists the alerts. Each alert has a severity, **Crítico** or **Atenção**, a state, **Ativo** or **Reconhecido**, and a **Próximo passo**. An alert built from incomplete data shows **Parcial** in **Cobertura**.

Cabine raises these alerts:

* **Furo de piso**
* **Throughput atrás do ritmo**
* **Obrigação com horário**
* **Concentração de contraparte**
* **Cluster de falhas**
* **Operação travada**
* **Prazo de reivindicação**
* **Integridade do extrato**
* **Certificado**
* **Bloqueio de prontidão**

### Acknowledge and reopen

Select **Reconhecer** on an active alert. Select **Reabrir** on an acknowledged alert.

The Cabine API stores an acknowledgement from an `operator` or an `admin`. Other operators see it, with **Reconhecido por** and the time, when their Cabine shows the same alert. The Cabine API keeps an acknowledgement for 30 days by default. [Cabine API environment variables](https://docs.lerian.studio/en/rails/cabine/cabine-environment-variables.md) names the setting.

Without the Cabine API, an acknowledgement shows only in the browser that made it, until the page reloads.

For the call, see [Acknowledge or reopen an alert](https://docs.lerian.studio/en/reference/rails/cabine/acknowledge-or-reopen-an-alert-id.md).

## Concentration

***

**Concentração** ranks the counterparties of the day by their share of the gross flow. Use the **STR** and **Pix** switch to choose the rail. The screen shows the coverage of the day's data, for example **Cobertura total** or **Cobertura parcial**. A counterparty with a high share raises the alert **Concentração de contraparte**.

## Shift handoff

***

**Passagem de turno** lists the open handoffs. A handoff has a note and evidence, which are links to the screens that matter. It needs the Cabine API.

1. Select **Nova passagem**.
2. Write the **Nota ao próximo turno**. Cabine selects the current exceptions in **Evidências**. Keep at least one item selected.
3. Select **Criar rascunho**. The state is **Rascunho**.
4. Select **Submeter**. The state is **Aguardando aceite**.
5. A different person selects **Aceitar**. The state is **Aceita**.

A different person approves the shift handoff. The approval is the receipt of the handoff.

The approver differs from the author and from the person who submitted the handoff. A person, not an application, approves it.
