# Cancel a fraud marker

> Cancels a DICT fraud marker by its directory resource ID within the scope of the participant determined by the authenticated tenant. The request has no body. Cancelling an already-CANCELLED marker is idempotent and returns 200 without changes. Returns 404 for an unknown resource ID, 403 when the participant is not authorized to cancel the marker, and 409 for another state conflict.
