# Our release cycle

> Understand how Lerian plans, builds, tests, and releases, from continuous weekly delivery to production releases, so teams know what to expect.

Lerian plans and reviews work on a weekly rhythm, delivering improvements continuously as release candidates. Production releases follow a separate, more deliberate cadence to keep environments stable.

We're refining this cadence, so production timing may change.

We evolve all our products, improving existing capabilities and, when applicable, developing new products. We validate every change before it reaches production.

## How it works

* **Planning**: We align scope, priorities, and technical direction. We define requirements and shape the roadmap.
* **Development**: The team builds and iterates on new features, enhancements, and platform improvements based on the planned scope.
* **Testing and validation**: We test and validate changes for reliability, performance, and consistency across the platform.
* **Release**: We consolidate changes into a production release. We publish documentation and release notes with the rollout.
