Editing a limit

Open Details to edit. The Console only allows saving changes for DRAFT limits and shows Only draft limits can be edited otherwise. You cannot change Limit Type and Asset on an existing limit. The Console has no reset time field. To start periods at another time of day, create the limit through the API with resetTime. See Reset time.

Scope

A limit needs at least one group. Add Group adds a group of conditions. Inside a group, Add Condition adds a row with a scope type and a value. Each scope type appears once per group. All conditions in a group must match. One matching group is enough, and the Console shows OR between groups. Each group saves as one scope object. For every limit type except PER_TRANSACTION, the Console notes that usage counts separately for the accounts, portfolios, segments, and merchants each group names. Transaction type does not split the count.
