April 10, 2026 Documentation update Review recommended

Affects

Teams using Helm deployment documentation. This update applies to the public documentation portal. It does not change the runtime API behavior unless the linked product documentation says otherwise.

What changed

The Helm documentation received a full restructure this week. What was previously a handful of monolithic pages is now a product-organized reference covering installation, upgrading, migration, troubleshooting, and production configuration.

New structure: Helm by product

The Helm section has been reorganized under the Platform tab and grouped by product, so you can jump straight to the reference for what you’re deploying.
  • Helm overview — Central hub linking to all product-specific Helm documentation
  • Version compatibility — Updated matrix with OCI registry docs and chart versioning clarification

Midaz (16 new pages)

The Midaz Helm documentation was split from two large pages into focused, navigable sections:

Plugins (7 new pages)

Each plugin now has its own Helm reference page:

Other products (4 new pages)

New: Deployment Models page

A new SaaS and BYOC page explains the two deployment models (fully managed SaaS vs. Bring Your Own Cloud), including when to use each, what Helm means in the BYOC context, and links to all product-specific Helm documentation.

Removed pages

The following monolithic pages were removed and their content redistributed into the new structure:

Content improvements

  • Business context — Helm pages now include decision context and “why this matters” framing, not just configuration instructions
  • Production guidance — New production values reference with annotated production values and resource recommendations
  • Troubleshooting — Comprehensive symptom-based troubleshooting covering pods, ingress, databases, RabbitMQ, and Helm operations
  • Migration paths — Detailed step-by-step migration guides for every supported version transition (v3→v4, v4→v5, v3→v5) with breaking changes and rollback procedures
  • Navigation — Sentence case applied to all Helm headers, cleaned up duplicated links from deployment pages
  • Network ports — Updated default network ports reference

Impact

This is a documentation update. Existing integrations do not need a migration from this release note alone.

What you need to do

1
Use the product-organized Helm documentation when planning installation, upgrade, migration, troubleshooting, or production configuration.

Deadline

None.

Why

The Helm documentation moved to a Platform structure and was reorganized by product.
