Teams that deploy Lender with M2M credentials or pre-provision Midaz chart-of-accounts entries.

What changed

AWS Secrets Manager remains the default M2M credential-custody backend. Lender also supports HashiCorp Vault KV v2 through the documented environment variables. Lender provisions Midaz ledger accounts by default. Deployments that pre-provision their chart of accounts can opt out using the documented setting. This is a documentation correction of the current runtime behavior; it does not announce a runtime release.

Review credential-custody configuration and select the supported backend. If your deployment pre-provisions ledger accounts, configure the opt-out before the next Lender deployment.
