The Accounting section of the Lender module holds Accrual runs, Journal references, and Suspense accounts. For the model behind them, see Accounting and accrual runs.

Accrual runs

Accrual runs lists the runs that post accrual entries to the ledger, and the items of each run.
  • Queue run queues a run for a business date. The date is a calendar day in São Paulo, today or earlier. A run recognizes the last civil month that fully elapsed before its date, for the whole book. A run dated anywhere in July closes June. Re-running a closed month changes nothing. To close a month the scheduler missed, date the run inside the following month. The run covers every product. Postings are permanent.
  • Open a run to read its items by kind, such as fee amortization, PIS/COFINS, or repriced interest.
  • Retry run re-sends the recognitions that the ledger has not acknowledged.
  • View journal reference opens the journal reference of an item.

Journal references

Journal references links a servicing or accrual event to its ledger posting. Lender resolves one reference at a time. Paste a correlation ID or a reference ID. A reference shows the posting status. The external journal reference ID is omitted until the ledger acknowledges the posting. It is also omitted on an accrual run. A reference carries the posting linkage only. It does not show the debit and credit legs. A posting that Lender has not relayed yet answers the same way as one that never happened.

Suspense accounts

Suspense accounts shows the ledger account that each kind of disbursement difference is booked to, per currency. The kinds are:
  • Paid over the released amount
  • Still owed to the borrower
  • Excess written off
  • CCB residual
Designating an account records which account to use. It moves no money. A contract keeps the account that its first amount in a role was booked into. A new account applies to contracts with nothing booked in that role. Lender records the account number as you type it and does not check that it exists in the ledger. Create the account in the ledger first.
