Lender is a module inside the Lerian Console. It gives your credit and operations teams screens over the operations of the Lender REST API. The Consignado screens work on the Consignado gateway.
Lender is only available if you have acquired the Lender product. Get in touch with our team to learn more.

Turn the module on

An administrator turns Lender on in the Console under Settings › Products. When Lender is off, the Lender screens say that Lender is not enabled for the organization. See Products settings. The Consignado screens need a second step. In the Lender sidebar, open Settings › Plugins and turn on Consignado CLT. Without it, the Consignado screens say the plugin is not enabled for the organization.

What the sidebar holds

The Lender sidebar has five sections. The Consignado CLT section appears below them when the plugin is on. Access Manager grants the permissions. See Managing users.

How the Console treats actions that move money

  • Permanent entries. Repayments, refunds, write-offs, accrual postings, and disbursements ask for a confirmation. To correct a repayment, use Reverse on it. It records a new compensating entry and keeps the original.
  • Idempotency key. The Console sends every POST to Lender with an idempotency key. If a send gets no answer, the Console warns you. To record it as a new entry, first check the account’s transactions.
  • Already recorded. When Lender had already booked the first send, the Console shows what that send recorded and states that nothing new was booked.

Business date

Screens that depend on the date use Lender’s business date, not the browser clock. The Console reads the business date from Lender. If the Console cannot read the business date, the Console shows an error with a Retry button.
