If you want to create a new Portfolio, follow these steps:

From the Portfolios page, click the New Portfolio button.

The New Portfolio form will open on the right side of the screen.

Fill in the information and click the Save button.

Understanding Portfolio fields

When creating or editing a portfolio in Midaz Module, you’ll work with:

Portfolio Details

  • Portfolio Name (required) - A descriptive name for the portfolio that identifies its purpose
  • Entity ID (optional, create only) - A unique identifier linking the portfolio to an external entity or system. This field cannot be changed after creation.

Metadata

  • Custom key-value pairs - Additional fields for integration, reporting, or business-specific needs
The Entity ID field can only be set during portfolio creation and cannot be modified afterward. Plan your entity associations carefully before creating portfolios.
