Opening the Audit Logs page
In the Matcher module, go to Reporting → Audit Logs.
Verifying chain integrity
The Tamper-evidence panel is above the filters. Click Verify integrity to check the audit hash chain. The check reads the records and does not change them. The panel then shows one of these verdicts:
One run inspects a limited number of records. If the chain is longer, the verdict tells you that the check skipped the most recent entries. Click Continue from #N to check the next records. N is the next chain position.
If the request fails, the panel shows an error and a Retry button. A failed request is not a verdict.
Filters
Open the filter panel from the toolbar above the table. The list updates as you type. You do not need to click a button to apply a filter. Each change returns the list to the first page.
The Actor and Entity type filters match the full value only. The toolbar also has an Items per page selector. Click Clear filters in the toolbar to remove all filters.
Audit log table
The table shows the newest events first. Each row has these columns:
Use Previous and Next below the table to move between pages. The table footer shows the number of events on the current page.
Viewing change details
Click View in the Changes column. The Audit log changes panel opens. It names the action, the entity type, and the entity ID. Then it shows the recorded change set as JSON. The fields of the change set depend on the operation.
If a change set was larger than the audit payload limit, the row shows Diff truncated. Matcher stored a marker instead of the full change set. You cannot get the full change set back from that record.
Viewing an entry
Click the ID in the Entry column. The Audit entry page opens with two panels:
For a record without a hash, the Tamper-evidence panel shows a Chain note instead of these fields. Click View next to Changes to open the recorded change set.
Audit trail of one entity
The General Information tab of a context and the detail page of an exception have a View audit trail button. Click it to open the Audit trail panel. The panel lists the events of that one entity, newest first. For more information, see Managing contexts and Exception details.
