Creating an Account

If you want to create a new Account, follow these steps:

1. From the Accounts page, click the New Account button (figure 1).

2. The New Account form will open on the right side of the screen.
3. Fill in the information and click the Save button.
   1. If you have created a Segment, you can use the Segment field in the Account Details tab to link it to the Account.
   2. If you have created a Portfolio, you can use the Portfolio tab to link it to the Account.

Tip

Another way of creating an account is to create an Asset. The external account for that Asset will be automatically created.
